Does the stretchability of clothing change when rhinestones are applied to it?

Hello, I want to decorate a part of a dress with rhinestones. I ordered the dress in two sizes. One fits tighter and somehow better, but I'm not sure if it will still stretch as well afterward. Maybe someone has done this before and can help me 😅

This will go away again because the stretchable fabric “dissolves the adhesive layer with time”. This adhesive does not go along with the elongation. He should also be stretchable and there is no such thing. You would have to sew/stick the stones at best. That’s tedious, but then you would have a lasting result.

You can almost melt stones that have applied a meltable layer at the bottom, with a certain pin that has a touchable tip, but I have experienced that this does not last.

Unfortunately, this has also been replaced again in places.

Sorry – I had overlooked the fact that you had only asked for the stretchability of the fabric after gluing – is already late – this will have an influence, it will strengthen the thing a bit. Depends on how close you apply the stones.

yes. is less stretchable.

in general, stretch is suitable for gluing deco elements only if it contains less than 5% elastane. otherwise it is not very durable.

the stones are released again in the run of time – and left remain unsightly sticky spots.

use stones for sewing or sequins for sewing (the latter gives as meterware)
