Veracrypt wrong SSD?
I accidentally decrypted a hard drive without encryption using my VeraCrypt recovery boot USB. Of course, the data is now corrupted, but can I recover it by encrypting it with the same algorithm and password, or can I use some kind of recovery program? It's an NVMe SSD.
This shouldn’t go, but if the piece of art has actually succeeded you should have destroyed the data.
With an SSD no software recovery works.
A data recovery lab may help you analyze the whole story in detail. But then calculate with correspondingly high costs…
Are you sure you didn’t encrypt the SSD? Because then you just have to decrypt them.
How do data look in a Hex editor? What does it look like when you access the SSD? Can you see files and folders?
Just play back the backup.
