Vaginal ring & morning-after pill?

Hello, I've been using the vaginal ring for months now, and so far, no problems. I usually use a condom as additional contraception. Unfortunately, the condom broke yesterday, so we bought the morning-after pill to make sure nothing happened. My question is, should I remove my ring as usual in a week, and will I get my period then? And can I reinsert the ring normally a week later, or should I wait if I haven't had my period during the ring-free week?
