Used iPhone 13pro – is this a fault in the phone or is there a function to turn it off?
I received a used iPhone 13 Pro as a gift. The "lift to wake" feature is disabled.
The automatic lock is set to 30 seconds.
I tried it with and without code, but the same problem in both cases.
The phone is off. The power button on the right side is on. When I lift it, it stays off. BUT…when I tap the screen (whether within 30 seconds or after 2 hours), the screen turns on. I JUST have to tap the screen. THAT'S EXTREMELY ANNOYING.
If it's in your purse, it can suddenly turn on just by touching it when you put it in. I've taken it out before, and the search function or alarm was on.
How can I turn this off?
Settings, operating aids, tapping, tapping to wake = out
The screen is normal when you lock the phone via the on/off button but the code/faceID is immediately activated.
More than the Quick Access features you have on the lock screen can not activate.
