Use mobile internet from iPhone to iPad (without hotspot)?
Hello,
I'm currently abroad and want to watch the European Championship game tonight. I've bought an eSIM with unlimited data for one day. However, I'd like to watch the game on my iPad rather than on the small iPhone screen. Unfortunately, my iPad doesn't have a SIM card, so sharing the internet from my iPhone is the only option. Unfortunately, the eSIM doesn't support a hotspot, or only supports a limited amount (500 MB). Is there a way to "share" the regular mobile network with the iPad without using the regular hotspot?
No, you don’t get around with an iPhone. Get an eSIM without a hotspot limit or watch the game on your phone.
Hello, did that go with you? Will buy over holafly inet but there is also a limitation of 500 mb
The eSIM does not have to “support” a hotspot – the mobile hotspot is built up by the iPhone. Ensure that the mobile data connection runs over the eSIM, then you can distribute the Internet connection via your iPhone via hotspot.
But if the eSIM is extra, Max. 500 MB although the data volume is unlimited? (example Holafly for Norway). Otherwise, you could only use a single eSIM with a whole household, buy unlimited data volume for this purpose and give the whole house internet via hotspot.
It’s eyewitness. This is not a real Unlimited flat, but a tariff with choke, which also violates net neutrality. I’d better choose another, reputable provider.
Some SIM cards actually limit usability as a hotspot. This is technically implemented at the end of the device. My knowledge cannot be circumvented by this lock/”function” on iPhone.
P.S.: Hotspot can also be completely locked in some SIMs. This is only unknown in this country, since this has not been practiced or practiced here. In the United States, however, such constrictions are, for example, gangs and donations.
This may apply to the USA. This is not permissible in the EU and EEA.
Norway. Stand up. But no matter – the tariff does not meet the requirements. It can’t be discussed.
And how do you know where the TE is now? The question sounds very like on holiday.
