Use Jimdo domain with ProtonMail?

Moinsen,

I've had a .de domain for my website with Jimdo for some time now. I would now like to use this domain for my ProtonMail account so that I can also send and receive emails via this domain.

I can't use the MX record until I've verified the domain – and to do that, I have to copy the txt file and paste it into my provider. However, I don't see any way to paste this txt file into Jimdo. Am I missing something, or do I need to change the provider for my domain (e.g., united-domains)?

Moin,

if there is no DNS management at Jimdo, you can’t send any mails via a third-party provider only via Jimdo.

Definitely there is a description of what options you have.

Then I guess I’ll have to change – the Auth code can be requested fortunately. Thanks for the quick answer!
