Hello.
I have a 4 TB Toshiba external hard drive. I'd like to connect it alternately to my Xbox and PS4. How can I use my hard drive for both without having to format it every time? There's also the option of partitioning, but that somehow didn't work for me.

You can only save one system to the external hard drive, either Xbox or Playstation both won’t work. You can only use the external hard drive on Xbox or Playstation if you want to put it to another console from the respective system, both systems cannot share the hard drive.
