If you haven’t formatted the stick so far or otherwise played it around, it can be that it’s just smoked.

Unfortunately, it is not unusual that USB sticks simply give up the mind.

In the Windows device manager, you can see if the stick is still detected.

If yes, you can see and reset the medium using the Format and Create hard disk partitions program, so you can describe it again.

I know that. It’s more like I used the Linux boot stick. With me, it always only helps to format the USB stick using the “diskpart” command prompt.

Kaputt go do things not actually, bloss Windows can’t hang it anymore.

PS: This often works if it is not displayed in the Windows partition manager or can be formatted there.
