Looked at USB stick data on PC but forgot to transfer it to the PC, data gone?

Hello, I was on holiday using a watch that was equipped with a camera and had an internal memory card to look at pictures and videos on my PC.

I connected the watch to the PC via a USB stick to view the memory card and data.

Unfortunately, I forgot to transfer the pictures to the PC. I just opened the data, pictures and videos on the watch's memory card and looked at the photos on the PC.

Unfortunately, I lost the watch and the memory card.

Are the photos and videos stored somewhere on the PC even if I have not dragged them onto the PC but have only looked at them (I have only opened the data on the stick

The PC recognized the USB stick, then I clicked on it and looked at the data on it, then I removed the USB stick again and did not transfer the data to the PC.

Is there a possibility that these pictures and videos from the holiday are available somewhere on the PC or hard drive, or can they be restored, or are they irretrievably lost, since I did not transfer them to the PC but only used the PC to open and view them

When viewing, images etc. are partially stored in the RAM while viewing. Maybe also in the storage. But first, not as a complete file and second, RAM loses everything when switching off.

In short: No chance, even a “specialist” cannot enchant here.

No, the data is of course lost.

Of course not. How do you want to recover anything from nothing? If there’s a car in front of your house for 2 minutes and then you can get it back? No, of course not.

Display and store are 2 different boots. You can’t restore a movie you watched in the cinema. It was displayed, not saved!

They’re gone.

No, he can’t, because the files were never on the PC.
