I bought a coiled cable from Keychron, USB-C to USB-C. The cable is only 1.36 meters long, which is too short to hide behind a desk. I bought a USB-C to USB-C adapter to extend the cable. Will this work, or is it a bad idea?

When I move the mouse normally, it stutters or has tiny micro-dropouts. I also noticed that as soon as I move the mouse, my speakers start to hum quietly. CPU usage and other things are normal, and the operating system is Windows 10. The graphics card is also up to date (RTX 3070).

Up to 5m it should work easily on USB
This is very important for the underlying standard. Passive USB cable should not be over 3m at USB3 and later. With USB2 it was actually 5m. But since the question of USB-C writes, this is not true here.
