You can check and repair the disk in the file manager. Whether it can restore the file completely is questionable.

At least then the access should function clean again and possibly make other existing files readable.

Then the file itself is broken. Then you can only make individual fragments visible with special tools.

This can have many reasons, so it is impossible to give you the right answer now:

  • Reading error or bit error on the memory -> multiple reading with different ECC parameters can lead to success
  • File system error -> scanning the raw data after the file independently of the file system can lead to success
  • Error in the last file writing -> depending on the data type, the file may be repaired

Buy new USB-irgendwas and re-copy the files from the existing backup.
