USA New Jersey internationaler Führerschein ausreichend?
The international driving licence is valid for 3 years, but that does not mean that you can also use it for this complete time with a single stay in a country. It is intended only for a temporary stay of 3-6 months.
She should check out how this is regulated in New Jersey.
Yeah, there’s something on it. It is common that you have to obtain a local driving licence shortly after moving to the state. Must be done with a theoretical test and does not cost much.

I looked again. Up to a year this could actually go with the German+International.
Yes, you have to purchase a Drivers License in the USA. But these are only two tests and costs about $40.
Hello
The Int. I know that driving licence is valid in the USA, it is even recommended for this country.
Important to note: the Int. Driving license is valid for max. 3 years. Maybe the deadline is over?
No, the problem is that the states demand that a local driver’s license be obtained after, for example, a month after moving to the state. The international driving licence is simply a translation of the national document.
I’m sorry. There is no exception for Au pairs.
also the International is valid for a maximum of 6 months.
after that it must be rewritten.
max. 1 year stay, the German FS could be valid.
Au Pair or Work and Travel could be the exceptions
