US entry with EStA?
Hello,
I booked a trip to the USA in May for December. I then applied for and received approval for ESTA.
There's a question that's been bothering me right now… one of the questions in ESTA is " Have you ever been arrested or convicted of a crime that resulted in serious property damage or serious harm to other people or government agencies?"
I have to honestly say that I don't remember exactly when that was… It was 2-3 years ago. I punched my neighbor, who, of course, filed a complaint. I had to pay a fine. The daily rate was somewhere between 20 and 25 cents. That doesn't count as a criminal record, since that only applies to those who are 90 or more, or if they're serving a prison sentence.
Anyway, did I still answer the question correctly with – No?
You could really answer that with no!
The word is very important.
So your ESTA is valid and you don’t have to worry.
However, you should keep your Anger Management under control. Especially in the USA at sports events.
The questions are only so “uninformed” People like you cross that they’ve already become criminals and they have a reason to reject you. Simply tick with no the U.S. authorities have absolutely no access to our database or the federal central register and on site at the airport they can’t ask for it anyway. I am also pre-crime and was on probation for 2 years and my esta was also approved.
If that were the case, they would send back every 2nd, because in our BZR there are also violations of order and every little contact with the police that you probably have no longer known or forgotten, e.g. red light violations, testimonies, lightnings, warnings etc. These data are important for judges and courts to give a future offender a suitable punishment to see if he has become noticeable in the same delict, which is why he was accused of a better and just judgment and even those who need a decision.
You should think that you have all the data correctly and as entered in the passport without typing errors.
It’s nix.
