Urologe verschreibt mehrfach Antibiotika ohne tests?

Also vor etwa 2 Wochen fing mein linker Hoden an bei Berührung weh zu tun, weshalb ich zum Urologen gegangen bin.
Dieser hat dann meinen Hoden einmal angehoben, mit dem Finger gegen gepiekst und meinte es sei wohl eine Entzündung woraufhin er mir für 10 Tage Antibiotika verschrieb.
Tatsächlich ging es nach einer Woche etwas besser doch jetzt ein paar Tage nach der letzten Pille fangen die Schmerzen wieder an und sind noch hoch ins Becken gezogen.
Der Arzt hat mir jetzt schon wieder ohne irgendwelche Tests zu machen für weitere 10 Tage Antibiotika verschrieben und meinte nach den 10 Tagen nehmen wir mal Blut ab.
Ist das normal so?
Ich fühle mich irgendwie schlecht dabei einfach so Antibiotika zu nehmen ohne das es so wirklich einen Befund gibt?

Well, if you were a dog, the doctor would have done a smear with a resistance test for various antibiotics for a long time and not just prescribed it…
But at the latest in the second antibiotic, a human physician should test first, instead of repeatedly writing planlessly…
I would look after a more pragmatic doctor and discuss this questionable antibiosis first before I implement it.
It will probably be based on secondary inflammation, which can be re-examined with ultrasound if necessary, but in otherwise unambiguous manual and description-based diagnostics it can be determined quite well (e.g., trace signs).
A smear in the sperm or testicles is not really what is desirable now, if that is sensible at all, you could at most investigate sperm on germs, I guess.
The doctor knows what he’s doing… before he initiates further steps…
If he wants to go on a number… that might be just a harmless inflammation
