a lot of carotene in the food (heu, kraftfutter, carrots, red prayer etc…) can colour the urine orange to deep red transparent. in the case it is a clear indication that the horse is too little drinking.

let it be clarified by animal. are reddish flocks in urine or if it turns out to be brownish when it is standing, there is a damage to the kidneys. a lot of hahnenfuss in heu loaded the nieren.

a lot beta carotin has, for example, lion tooth (all parts of plants out of the root), nettle and glue.

around this season, it must always be taken into account that many horses eat leaves, but unfortunately most toxic. even with a moderate poisoning with fried or maple we urine reddish. also in the case of the walnut that the horse gets after eating black after-shadow or autumn-timeless. oak, mountain maple, chase, oak, maple are just like icy and book tree priinzipiell lethal.

please order the veterinarian, urinary examination and general status of the horse should be assessed, as well as nutrition.

Whether ridden or not – what should the color of the urine have to do with riding… – please call the TA!

Short objection -> My RB had bubble stones a few years ago. And with her the urine was actually only red after riding/after extreme movement.

She had her bladder stones about 14/15 and is now almost 20. As we said, this was mainly due to the fact that her urine was red and she obviously had pain in urination. I can’t say anything about the cost – because only riding participation – but I know that the veterinarian could remove it at the stable. The mouse obviously didn’t find it so great and hasn’t had the need to run away for almost two years when you approach the tail with the water hose.

In any case, it is now regularly given aspirin to feed and when we have been able to control the beginning of the year in the course of a colonial hospital stay, there was no new development of the bubble stones. In this way, at least with us without consequences can be treated 😀

If you mean what you find on the bottom of the box, the normal decomposition processes are. It happens even when daily meals are served. It only helps 2 times a day thoroughly.
However, you see that the horse urinates directly red, please call the veterinarian immediately.

Huhu!

If what you find in the box is red, that is normal decomposition process.

If you see the horse urinating red, then immediately call the veterinarian and not google on the internet. Doctor Web has no training and remote diagnostics are in the rarest case correct.

The urine when flowing red, or the “result” on the ground? Some litter reacts with the substances in the horse mason and then looks red.

But the veterinarian you’ve already called will surely know more.

And what is the question?

Why has no veterinarian been informed yet?

Why do you think someone can say this without investigation, what is that?

What did that have to do with the rider or not?

If ridden or not, it’s not normal!
