Does my laptop support 4k resolution?

Good day everybody,

Unfortunately, I'm not as up on computers as I was a few years ago. I'd like to buy another screen for my laptop for work.

Laptop specifications:

I7-8550U with Intel UHD Graphics 620, Nvidia Geforce MX 150, HDMI connection only, no DisplayPort, laptop screen is Full HD

Now to the question:

Would the laptop support a 4K display? According to my research, the graphics card can do 4K at 60 fps, but the Intel spec sheet only states 24 fps at 4K.

So what is the limiting factor? I would be very grateful for any helpful answers!

What is the exact name of the laptop?

It depends on which HDMI version is installed.

The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5 A517-51G. Where do I find the HDMI version?

Actually, this should be found in the manual.

Unfortunately, many manufacturers conceal what version is installed, because I could not find anything. Everywhere is almost only HDMI = Yes
