DisplayPort is better suited for image transfer than HDMi. The only drawback is: The display port cannot transmit audio at the same time. That is not bad as a PC user, as every PC has a sound card anyway and you connect your own headphones directly to PC instead of on monitor.

But for a 144hz monitor, DisplayPort2.1 would be better because it is the only one that supports up to 240hz, right?

Yes, what’s going on in the image transfer is better at Displayport. But of course, your 144Hz graphics card must also support if you want to use it.

That’s not true. DP can of course transmit image and sound simultaneously

Yes, she does, it has HDMI on the gaming monitor but now with DP1.4 no 144hz work anymore
