Unsubscribe from spam emails?

I've been receiving spam emails from various email addresses for a while now. Nothing unusual at first glance. However, I noticed that there's an unsubscribe option at the bottom of the emails (see image).

When I click on the link, I am always redirected to the page https://www.nomoreremails.com , which looks like this:

I have to enter my email address there to unsubscribe. However, I'm worried that this will only lead to me receiving more spam. Do you think it's a good idea to enter my email address there?

What you did not subscribe to yourself should not be used to unsubscribe. This could confirm that your email address is active and leads to even more spam. It’s better not to open up such mails in the spam folder and then delete them. In Firefox there is a new feature for email addresses that can help you reduce spam.

However, I am afraid that this will only lead to more spam emails.

Absolutely right! With this you confirm that behind your mail address there is a person who actually looks at the garbage.

You confirm your email address… it’s worth more and can be resold better! < Then you get more SPAM emails!
