Irregular periods? What can I do?
Hey
I'm almost 25 and since I got my period I've never had my period "on time".
When I was 16-19 I had them about every 3 months and now I fluctuate between 16-55 days.
In May, I went to a gynecologist, and she wanted to sell me the pill. I said I didn't want to do that, I wasn't taking it—I wanted a hormone test.
She replied: no, that won't help – I have a female hormone deficiency – the only thing that really helps is the pill.
I almost burst there… I got the Ginoring prescribed, but I didn't use it.
I don't have any cysts or anything like that. She said that—and she also explained to me that I should take the pill 🤬.
Can someone help me and give me advice? Maybe I have PCOS or endo.
ps
I always have such bad stomach pains before and during 🩸 that I have to take pills to get through the day
pimples, acne, back pain, flatulence, diarrhea, chest pain, headache, cramps, constipation
Most doctors are so sad. You almost always have to pay the hormone status yourself. It’s just that.
Got the same problem as you, but you can’t really do anything. A gynecologist had recommended me once. A planting agent that may also help you. Google after that.
Change the gynecologist.
If your doctor does not consider a hormone test to be necessary, you will have to pay it from your own pocket.
You can also have your thyroid gland examined, which can be responsible for cycle problems.
Unfortunately, there are some women. I myself had a very irregular period for my life, so I didn’t even know if I was pregnant or not (at that time you didn’t buy a pregnant chatst…… that was still very rare).
What the gynecologist would be my advice for you.
