Unreal Engine on a bad laptop?

I want to program a game with a friend. I've already done this with Unity and C#, but we want to make a 3D game. I want to do the coding, and he'll make the 3D models. Would Unreal run on my laptop if I just coded the code without textures and tested it on rough objects without many effects? Later, I would give the code to my friend, who would then link it to the objects.

My hardware:

Dell Latitude E5470

Processor: Intel i5 6300U

Ram: 1x8gb + 1x4gb ddr4 sodimm 2600 mhz

GPU: Intel HD520

Dear MoinMeister1723,

this depends on how complex the project is to be.
But for a smaller project in a private sector, Anden should only work two people. In general, coden doesn’t need performance. What is more powerful is the 3D rendering and physics. If you don’t exaggerate (shadows, reflections, dynamic lighting etc.), it should be good.

Trying out, could go, but it’s not going to be liquid.
