Uniquely duplicate Godot scenes?

I looked into it… so you have to make every note unique in every scene? That's really cumbersome… can't I just rename the scene in the duplicate folder and make everything unique in one go?

No other method than the “SceneTree” – right mouse button “make unique” I don’t know – but how many nodes want to define as unique? – This makes only real sense when the node moves within the SceneTrees and an absolute path is not possible…. it can lead to performance problems if too much nodes are defined from “unigue” and are simultaneously accessed.

Do you mean the complete SceneTree of a world – as “World1” in it then Player, Enemy, Tilemap, Control UI and and…?

If you mean that – there’s a cooler possibility – which also makes adjustment incredibly easy

You first want a MasterTemplate e.g. “World_Base” to pack everything that should be so pure – player, controll and what else should be so pure -> go to Scene (above) and then to “New Inherit Scene” he then creates a kind of copy/instance of “Base_World” – everything you can change in “Base-World” will be changed to any Inherit Scene…
