And as I ride, my thoughts ride ahead of me. Stylistic devices?

And as I ride, my thoughts ride ahead

Hello, I'm wondering whether this is a personification or a metaphor. I thought metaphor because riding isn't a human characteristic, but I'm a bit unsure. The following verse says they carry much lightly and airily to my dearest house. Would that also be a metaphor?

And as I ride, ride like this: Parallelism: I ride, riding thoughts, Enjambement
to me the thoughts (metapher/personalization): thoughts don’t ride.
they carry me light and airy (further metaphor/personalization) (thanks do not wear) Alliteration: light and airy,
after my beloved house (Inversion, according to the house of my loved ones).

plus Assonance: Classification of the ei-Laute: “read riding”, “light” and “my”

The enjambement expresses the speed (it is not stopped at the end of the line by a set, the set continues).

The somewhat restless rhythm
u – u – u – u –
u – u – u – u
– u – u – u –
u – u – u
also transports galloping, especially at the places where two untoned ones stand one behind the other (especially in the first and second verse: dang ga da dang ga da dang)

The set contains mMs a polyptoton.

In essence, this figure refers to the fact that a word is repeated in different flexion forms (deflection forms). The tribe of the word thus remains, only the endings are changed.
