Good night,

I reconstructed the connection on bahn.de. There are 7 minutes walking time in Göttingen. The RB 80 is on average 2-3 minutes too late, but often has no delay. The ICEs also drive quite on time, with a punctuality of about 70% – 90% (yes this is very punctual for the Deutsche Bahn :D).

Normally, the DB app specifies whether you can create the transition (theoretical). If a red cross is specified, the train binding is definitely cancelled and you can continue with the next ICE anyway.

But, my personal recommendation: since you do not have a tie on the RB 80, you can take a train earlier. If you prefer to drive over Eichenberg, you have 12 minutes transfer time. I checked the RB/RE connections there, both have an average delay of 4 minutes. So you have at least 8 minutes to change. And then you have half an hour to change in Göttingen. Look here: Going to (bahn.de).

Best regards
Tijn

It would be too hot for me at the current infinity of the railway. After my last experiences with train trips, I would schedule at least 15 minutes delay.

It’ll be athletic. 5 suitcases for 2 people and a child by hand, you don’t run

I’m sure it’s possible, ABER, that would be too short in the sense of delays!

Leave the first train only!!! times have 3 min delay, then get out and push through all the people who may not have a hurry…
