Cutting through fallen old oak tree trunks / cutting very hard wood?
What's the best way to cut the tree trunks described? Despite its 4.5 hp, my chainsaw was clearly reaching its limits. I used a new chain, which quickly took a beating from the hard wood. I managed to cut it with difficulty and wedges, otherwise my chain would have jammed during operation. Does anyone have a good alternative? I used a half-chisel chain; would a full-chisel chain be better?
There are also saw chains with HM teeth. You almost get through everything.
Super thank you for the answer that brings me forward I’m going to ask you are probably expensive to have 50 swords…
The parts are not very cheap. Offered 2 years ago on Ebay on a chain but where the price was at 100 € I went out.

I was expecting that to be honest, and I’m sorry I caught you with the joke on the wrong foot. we’ll talk again in half a year, maybe you can laugh about the situation.

Thank you for understanding that I just wanted to loosen the situation a little. was probably a little early for it 🙂
The page is already important, but if you have a problem at work and it affects your tool which has suffered quite a bit what you bought expensively then you also understand why I can’t find it funny. But I have saved the page directly a lot of funny gifts…
Oak can usually be cut with any reasonable chain saw.
Yes I give you right, but in my case, it’s eggwood stems that have long been lying and thus got very hard wood. I made it with my chain saw, but it has done some very hard to find alternatives.
