Does the Spanish for Beginners app translate incorrectly?
See image:
Must Hermanas and Hermanos be translated incorrectly? Or can the final s also be used as a plural in Spanish?
I'm not sure about Amigos, because even Google Translate goes on strike when it comes to Spanish. Shouldn't it actually be Amigas?
I'm afraid that if I learn with this app, I'll be laughed at when I talk to Spanish-speaking people?
The translations are wrong.
Rule:
1.When in the end it is always plural.
Two. The ending – a/- as indicates that it is NOT women
3.- os can be both men and one mixed Be a group.
4. There are some lexical peculiarities in which the German has two different words, but the Spanish goes through the logic:
– hermanos can be called ” brothers” or ” siblings”
– padres can be called ” fathers” or ” parents”
Hermanos and hermanas are many.
Right is “chica” – the girl.
All the others with the “s” at the end are plural forms, so “the sisters” etc.
I can talk about happiness that I’ve learned with a better app before! Someone who does not speak Spanish would not have noticed the mistakes…
That’s it!
Have you ever tried Duolingo?
Yeah, I’m currently learning with Duolingo. However, I have other apps on the phone that I also learn with.
