Übergangs-BahnCard!?
Mein Freund hat mir erzählt man bekäme, wenn man sich eine BahnCard kauft, eine art “Übergangs-BahnCard” die man vorläufig nutzen kann. Er will kurzfristig zu mir fahren, und das auch noch in möglichst kurzer Zeit – also will er ein Ticket für den ICE – da ihm das zu teuer ist will er ne Bahncard… Nur blöd das er schon diesen Samstag zu mir fahren will… Die BahnCard schafft es also bis dahin nicht mehr zu ihm. Hat diese Karte jemand von euch und kann mir meine Fragen beantworten? 😀 Wie funktioniert das mit dieser Übergangs-Karte? Muss man die am Schalter beantragen? Kostet das extra? Bekommt man die sofort? Oder kann man die auch über’s Internet beantragen und sich ausdrucken oder sowas!? Also ich hab davon so noch nix gehört, ich hab meine BahnCard bekommen und dann wars gut…

when I bought my railway card on the switch I got the preliminary immediately handed out……….this is not a card in the sense but only a note…………..the right card comes later with the post……
You get them automatically, either at the desk in paper form or online, then you have to print them out. It is now valid.

You mean the “provisional railway card.” It will be printed automatically upon purchase and will be valid immediately.
If he orderes the Bahncard online, he can print the Transit Card as a pdf file himself – just like an online ticket purchased. This will apply until the correct card is here.
