Two monitors with a Macbook?

Good morning everyone,

A small question about connecting two monitors to a MacBook Air M2:

I bought a port that connects to the Mac via a USB-C port. Now I've tried connecting the MacBook to two monitors via HDMI (there are two HDMI ports on the port). It actually works, but it only recognizes one of the two, and the other only mirrors the first one. It's not possible to create an extended image this way. I also noticed that you can't close the MacBook while working. Then everything shuts down. Is there a setting that allows you to continue working on the monitors?

An sich klappt das auch, jedoch erkennt er nur einen von beiden und der andere spiegelt den ersteren nur. 

Das MacBook Air M1 sowie M2 unterstützt nativ keine Bildausgabe über zwei externe Monitore. Ob und wie gut es dann doch irgendwie mit Lösungen von Drittanbietern und deren Treibern funktioniert, müsste man ggf. einzeln ausprobieren.

Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass man das MacBook während des Arbeitens nicht zuklappen kann.

Wenn eine externe Maus und Tastatur angeschlossen ist, sollte sich dein MacBook eigentlich nicht in den Ruhezustand verabschieden. Alternativ mal in den Systemeinstellungen nachsehen oder du installierst dir eine App wie Lungo, mit der du relativ einfach, schnell und temporär solche Einstellungen festlegen kannst.
