Such channels have many spectators, but there are few donations or subs. So financially, there’s not much going to get around.

Yes, of course. However, they must also buy the rights to the respective series, otherwise they should not stream at all.

Such channels usually also belong to the rights holders or a TV station that bought the rights. They earn the money through TV evaluation or DVD/Bluray sale. Free streaming platforms have not been more than re-use for which a little bit of money still comes in. If they do this on all streaming platforms, there’s something going on.

But as a private person, it won’t be. You will not be able to pay the rights to the series.
