You will find relays in vain – it is usually an electron-proof indicator (if you don’t have anything from the 1960s).

Diagnostics:

  • Check backup
  • Check the switch
  • Check the cable

So, both sides don’t flash anymore, the rest of the electrics work like light, etc.?

If your flasher is separately secured, check this fuse.

Otherwise, the blinker is broken, or in the most favorable case, a cable to or from the blinker has departed/broken.

The relay is usually clicked. However, it may also be that the relay is not controlled at all. Check all fuses first.

Can of course also be a defective / loose cable.

Take a measuring instrument and take off the “stretch”.

Battery / fuse > switch

Switch > Relay

Relay > blinker

Could also be broken the fuse

It can also be the flasher switch. Or a fuse, in which case the cause of burning must be found. Or a loose plug. Or a torn cable.
