Doorbell button only works with finger?

Hello everyone 🙂

I'd like to make our home a little smarter, so I bought a small automatic 'fingerbot' (connects via Wi-Fi). This then automatically presses the door opener.

Unfortunately, our door opener isn't a traditional door button; it only responds when your finger touches it (i.e., when it touches your skin). (Similar to wearing gloves on your phone, which then also doesn't recognize your inputs.)

Is there some kind of film or something similar that you can put over the Fingerbot so that the button recognizes it?
