TSA lock stuck?
Hello, I bought a suitcase with a TSA 007 lock yesterday. I tried setting my own code, but since then, the suitcase won't open. I've tried all the combinations twice, but that didn't help. The store says it's my fault because I forgot my code. But I've already tried all the combinations in case something really went wrong during the setting. Unfortunately, the YouTube videos didn't help me either. Is there a way to open the suitcase? I don't want to have wasted my money.
Thank you!
Did you really seriously try all the combinations?? I actually did this in a passage (!) to get inclusion again, it took an eternity and was a totally modest task. I can’t imagine you tried twice.
Sometimes one also understands in the panic that one thinks it doesn’t work or one would have forgotten the PIN. Be the first to try again the original combination that was set when buying. Then you’ll try the PIN you’ve set. Then try again all variants around your PIN if you have turned each digit up or down against each other. It’s a bit complicated to put it on, but that’s certainly less number combinations to try out than if you’re going through the whole wheel again.
In the end, I would also consider whether you might have had several potential pins you could have hired or wanted. Maybe you were unconcentrated and hired one of the others? Then I would try the other PINs again.
If the whole thing doesn’t work, I would send a friendly mail with questions about help to the manufacturer of the suitcase and explain your problem. Maybe they have a tip for you or offer you a cost-effective repair.
