TrueNAS Scale RAID erweitern?

Hallo,

ich habe in meinem TrueNAS Scale 3x12TB Festplatten drin und bin jetzt bei 80% Auslastung angekommen. Jetzt möchte ich mein RAIDZ1 mit 2x12TB Festplatten erweitern.

Ich habe daher unter Speicher – Manage Devices – RAIDZ1 rechts auf Erweitern gedrückt und meine Festplatte hinzugefügt. Jetzt werden auf dem Dashboard 4 Festplatten angezeigt, aber noch immer 80% Auslastung, was habe ich falsch gemacht?

Was muss ich machen, damit diese Festplatte korrekt erkannt wird?

Do not add single plates to existing pools, but set up the two new plates as vDev, and then add the vDev to the pool. Then you increase the overall capacity.

Thanks for your quick answer, how do I get my hard drive out of the pool now?

The expansion takes extremely long, with my hard drive only 74% after about 36H.

If you enter the command sudo zpool status -v in SSH, you can see the current status.

In the GUI, no load beam is displayed, that is a little confusing as you think it didn’t work, but in the background it is already expanding.
