Extreme pain despite taking the pill one week before the pill break?

Hello, I've been taking the Selina Mite pill for a year now. However, for about six months now, I've noticed that during the last week before my pill break, I get stomach and groin pain. Sometimes I also get nausea and headaches. Is it possible that I can't tolerate it anymore? Can someone please help me; all this thinking is driving me crazy. My gynecologist hasn't given me any other advice except to try a different pill.
