Travel to the USA despite a criminal record?

I'm planning a vacation to the USA. However, I have a drug conviction, and my question is: Am I still allowed to enter the country, or would that cause complications?

I have indicated several criminal offenses in the leadership certificate and the ESTA that I have no one and I have not done any problems. How should the Americans check this? they have no access to our database. Just ask everyone with no answer.
Knowing one of them was in prison several times and could also enter without a head on site is an absolute sympathetic conversation with officials and no interrogation. In 90% of the cases they ask for the reason of entry then say “in here for Vacation” then they ask you how long you stay? And then photos are taken by you + fingerprints, you get a stamp and finished. There are always exceptions, but even if you have to stop at the second security check, but half as bad as you just follow their instructions.

This is your question:

Have you ever violated any law related to possessing, using, or distributing illegal drugs?

This question arises as a further question from the first security question and concerns consumption, possession and trade in drugs. An ESTA can only be requested if this is not the case or if the traveler has complied with the legislation of the country in which he was involved in drug use, possession or trafficking. For example: A Dutchman who regularly has and smokes hashish, but who does so in accordance with Dutch laws, can simply answer this question with “no”.

If you want to know more precisely, look at the questions in English on the official ESTA Request page and then decide if you can reply with No!

If you have to answer this with yes, you need a B visa. You have to apply for that personally. That too shouldn't be a problem.

By the way ESTA is not a visa, it is exactly the opposite.

It is permitted to enter the United States without a visa.

The officer at the Point of Entry always decides about the actual entry. Whether under ESTA or with a visa.

This certainly depends on the type of imprisonment and whether the punishments have already been punished, ie no more probation.

You will have to apply for a visa before entry. Entering Esta doesn't go.

Can lead to complications, but does not have to.

But since you need to register for USA online before the trip, you will surely learn this online
