Travel to Thailand for 45 days without a visa instead of 30 days?

Is that true or do I need a visa if I stay in Thailand for 45 days? Before it was 30 days.

Visa-free is 30 days. There are aspirations, among other things, for the most European state powers to be reduced to 90 days, but at the moment there are still 30 days.

You can leave the residence permit received after a visa-free entry once for a further 30 days with the permit for your stay in Thailand. Then it is 30 + 30 = 60 days.

Oh, I think now I know how you're going to be 45 days. In 2022 there was indeed a pre-existing rule according to which visa-free up to 45 days were possible. This was probably related to the fact that the boundaries for Covid were closed for a long time for tourism and were then reopened. At that time there was indeed a certain period of 45 days. This was driven back to 30 days in 2023.

If you don't believe me, maybe the Thailadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/zE6021nSnu/%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%BAD%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A3/VOA.pdf

Google also says that the Earth is a disc, Elvis lives and Paul McCartney has long been dead. Google tells you everything you want to hear. Sometimes you just have to look for a little.

It's 30 days.
