Transfer email address from locked Amazon account to new account?
I've asked Amazon customer service several times for a solution, but unfortunately they never seem to understand exactly what my problem is:
I've been actively using an Amazon account for about six months now. I've already placed a few orders there. However, I'm now registered with this account using my spam email address, as my private email address is already being used for a very old, suspended account. Obviously, I can't use the email address from the old account for the new one.
I've reported this to customer service many times. The problem now is that 1. they're not allowed to delete the old account themselves, and 2. reactivating the old account never seems to work. And without access to the old account, I can neither change the email address nor close the account.
Do you have a suggested solution?
What was the reason for the arrest? I would certainly not point out that I once had an account with Amazon, which was then blocked…
So I have my own domain (but pays 17€ a year…) and have created your own email account for each account… would that be for you?
or you make a second serious email address at a freemail provider… yahoo or gmail…
I honestly don’t know the reason for the blocking. The account was probably created 8-9 years ago, I didn’t even get a message about blocking in my mails. At that time, the account was not used at all. I probably didn’t know why I created it when I was a teenager.
Creating a new address would not necessarily be an option because I would only use it for Amazon. I also registered my private mail with other accounts.
ok… Amazon only gives full-year-olds an account… you can easily overlook… grinz
So the old account is blocked because of a rule violation… I think they’ll carry this forever…
a lawyer could force the deletion…
Thank you.
