Train connection no longer applies – can I travel a day later?

Hi,

I bought a Super Saver fare ticket a few weeks ago. Yesterday I received an email saying that the timetable had changed, and therefore my train connection was no longer valid. However, the new connection is quite time-consuming for me, so I'd like to travel the next day. Am I allowed to do that with my ticket?

I'm afraid that's not possible, but I would find it really bitter to have to book a new ticket at such a last-minute moment through no fault of my own…

Maybe you know something about it 🙂

Best regards,
Ichthys

Go to the travel center and ask for cunning, unfortunately you do not have a right to do so – but you can choose any other connection on the original travel day and also use higher-quality trains (except for reservation-only trains and Flixtrain). The only hole: if the journey is finished by 10 a.m. on the following day, this is the case.

This is the DB layout. There is no such restriction in the EU passenger rights regulation.
