The motto “Weniger is more” applies in horse feeding.

The base must always be hay. If the quantity and quality is correct, most recreational horses also need only a proper mineral food. If the MiFu isn’t eaten and good.

Most make the mistake and think it’s too good in feeding. The whole range of muesli, pülverchen and co. is cheerful to the horse and wondered when the horse gets health problems and gets sick.

If you have the feeling your horse lacks something, then let the TA make a blood picture and tell you what to feed.

You can’t say that.

A comprehensive feed consultation costs about 150€.

Is there a blood pattern, hay analysis, and the like that you could at least judge?

In principle, sufficient hay (about 2kg/100kg ideal weight/day, depending on the horse also more or less) should be present.

If the horse is too slapped, start with 2 hand full of oats. Müsli & Co. definitely doesn’t need it. Alternatively, you can also give a hand full of dry feedable haycobs (brand: Schröder) or lucerne or green oat if the horse is to get something if the others get something.

“half shovel” is always relative – there are huge shovels and very small shovels, where 2 hand are already half.

The basic substance is the hay – is this always available in a seemingly reluctant horse? If no, the ration should be increased first.

I would also be happy to help in more detail – others earn their money (rightly).

So, no, no, no, no, no, no. This should be decided by someone who really knows well and then gets money (e.g. Conny Röhm, as keyword for Google) or on site with the stable owner or the like.

By the way, blood is always practical.

Hello,

First of all, of course, it is important to inform you whether you have allergies.

Whoever this is finished would be a basis of feeding high quality hay and to make sure that your horse gets enough vitamins to use many like mineral food. If as with many horses your horse doesn’t drink so often you can mix oats with water on something (less so it won’t get thick)
