That the shock absorbers are most likely by doing the main exam at TÜV, GTÜ or DEKRA. Right at the beginning, you will come to the shaker plate.

If the dampers have already been extremely compliant, a sawtooth profile appears on the tire profile. But this is more likely to be seen by a skilled person. If the damper wear is already so advanced, the driving behavior becomes quite criminal, with sudden gas removal in the curve, the car has the tendency to turn.

The feathers are either broken or hot. If the latter applies, there is no reason to exchange. If a broken one is recommended the change of both springs of an axle.

If the shock absorbers are not leaking or the springs are not broken, it can be seen that the vehicle is no longer stable and tilts or swings.

Japp. Springs break when the powder coating rubs off at the spring receptacles with time. For this, there are often already at work these “Aquarian tubes” to move over.

Wearing in the actual sense does not do feathers.

Damage or leaks can be detected by dredging, a measurement can be determined by a person skilled in the art with a shock absorber test or a test run.
