Tortellini 1 month expired still edible?
Hi guys,
I just made a tortellini casserole and unfortunately, only after I was cleaning the kitchen did I notice that one of the packages was already a month past its best-before date. The package says "best before" and not "use by." But it was those pre-packaged tortellini from the refrigerated section. The filling is cheese.
Now the question is, are they still edible? It would be really stupid to throw away the entire casserole because of one package 🥲
They looked and smelled completely normal. Now it's a bit difficult to taste them because they're in the casserole.
I'm grateful for every tip 😁
If they smelled and looked normal, they’re probably still good. It doesn’t mean deadly.
Especially since it would be so late, or so, as they’re in the run-up. If he’s finished, well, the Tortellini is also good.
If he doesn’t, you still have to throw him away.
Thank you Mungukun, this helps me a lot! 😁
Okay have eaten the run-up meanwhile and was tasty and everything was good.
