Too sensitive?

I've cooked with meat a few times, but when I held this piece in my hand to rinse it, I almost cried. Of course, I still have an appetite for it, but I think we humans often forget to honor the fact that so much dies so we can survive… Am I being too sensitive?

Nice, – and good – that you have these feelings:

To feed once feeling beings should never become a matter of course!

Make sure you get the meat from, and then thank the animal…

Good for you.

No, it’s not too sensitive. In some natural peoples, before slaughtering, the animal is thanked for having left his life so that one can live on. It means appreciation for animals and life in itself. Others pray before meals to thank you. Mindfulness and appreciation is never wrong.
