Ton zusammenziehen (Modellbau)?

Ich habe aus Bastelton einen Fußboden modelliert, aber über nacht hat er sich um etwa Zwei Zentimeter zusammmengezogen. ist das Normal?? wäre das Normal, wäre Bastelton ja vollkommen nutzlos für jegliches Projekt. Und wenn ja: Was mache ich dann? kann man es kontrollieren?

Of course it’s normal. When drying, water escapes/evaporates and because the mass becomes less it pulls together.

That’s the way things go. Even the toast in the toaster becomes smaller when it is dried/stoasted.

Yeah, every tone shrinks by drying out. That’s the same in pottery, with the right tone. It is necessary to schedule this when working.

Shrinkage during the drying process is normal.

I would form individual bricks and so to speak lay the floor with bricks.

Tone tiles are not sawed, they are individually shaped and irregularities belong to clay tiles.

If you don’t want to, you need to pour a concrete floor.
