Ton oder Lehm für Blumentöpfe für außen?
Hallo!
Bald ist wieder das Frühjahr da und ich plane schonmal.
Intro:
Im Garten möchte ich mehrere kleine Beete anlegen um da drinnen Kräuter zu pflanzen. Wie ich so bin möchte ich mir nicht einfach etwas aus dem Gartencenter oder Baumarkt kaufen sondern selber herstellen.
Der Plan:
An den Stellen wo ich das Beet haben möchte, werde ich gute 5-10cm in den Boden rein graben. auf die Höhe wie ich die Beete haben möchte Äste abschneiden und rein stecken. Dazwischen weitere Äste flechten und um es dann aufzufüllen mit […] auffüllen.
Die Frage:
[…] Was gebe ich da rein? Lehm? Ton? Ich möchte es natürlich lassen. Die Masse sollte verformbar sein, aber auch gut genug durch die Luft getrocknet werden das es danach Wasserfest ist.
Hättet ihr Ideen, was ich am besten dafür verwenden könnte (was auch schickt ausschaut)? Am besten auch Preiswert 😅
(Es kann auch etwas sein was nach einigen Jahren verschleißt, ich mag es Dinge in Schuss zu halten und neu zu machen)

That sounds like you wanted to put up high beds. I don’t know what that sound is. You can fill a beet with humus and earth. The wood braid is quite enough as a frame, the water is supposed to be soaking in the ground, herbs do not like wet feet 😁

Either you braid more branches in (as with a basket) under you could stack a foil from inside.
Proper high beds are often made of wooden boards (old pallets are good because the wood is weather resistant) you can also make a dry wall or use old bricks. And if you can invest some money, CortenStahl will keep forever. Or quite different: an old bathtub 😁
