Depending on what I’m thinking of developing a game.

For example, if I want to develop a visual novel, I would choose ren’py. If I wanted to develop a simple 3d game alone, I would choose unity. If I would develop with a large team a elaborate 3d game with raytracing etc., I would choose unreal, etc…. if necessary it also offers to use garkeine engine from the rod.

I think you should have a concept and then choose the right tools and not choose the tools before you have the concept.

Very good note!

You should see the engine as a tool that supports you in development, not as a problem you have to solve.

This allows you to create titles that look significantly better than with Unity.

24, M, software developer.

Unity3D and Unreal Engine are both AAA Engines. Say, you offer high-end graphics.

In addition, I would recommend Unity because it (in my opinion) is more friendly for beginners than Unreal Engine.

In Unity you can use C# scripts, in Unreal with C++.

C# is also the more affordable language.
