To roll down or to roll down?

I want to enter my short story into a competition and am afraid of spelling something wrong. My possibly incorrect sentence is:

"[…] because I forgot to roll down the shutters."

So, what do you say? Is this sentence correct, or should I write "to roll down"?

Google Docs tells me to "scroll down," but the writing program has suggested a lot of strange things to me.

Thanks for your answers!

You don’t roll down a shutter, you close it.
Since the roller blind is rolled up, it would be unrolled on closing

It would have to be rather hot because I forgot to roll the shutters

“to let the shutter down.” He is not rolled, but rather unrolled. And roller shutter rolling sounds also kind of double tumbled.

The new spelling tends to individual words, according to which one writes roller shutters also with 3 ‘l’ .

In my opinion, “rolling down” is correct.
