Tire Pressure Control failed, what to do?

I put winter tires on my BMW, and since then I've been getting a message saying the RDC has failed. I also tried to reset it, but somehow it doesn't work. The message keeps popping up. I stop, press reset, and continue driving normally. And then it starts all over again. What should I do? How do I turn off the message without having to go to the workshop?

There are two possibilities. In some vehicle types, the winter wheels can be preprogrammed in the control system and the system must be converted to the pre-stored data of the winter wheels or the winter wheels must be reprogrammed during each cycle change.

If this was not done, the system "motzt" that it does not receive the correct signals for the corresponding wheel.

During each revolution of the wheel, the sensor signals an identity recognition signal for, for example, the wheel on the front left etc.

It can thus be avoided that the signal is processed by a passing car.

How do I cancel the message without having to go to the workshop?

Probably not. Sounds like the sensor is empty in one or more tires and does not send any data.

Do the winter tires even transmit a signal? o_O So support the RDC?

Probably a sensor is defective.
