Tips for fear of presentations?

I have to give three presentations in the next three weeks, and I'm really scared. Two of them are okay because I'm presenting with friends, but I have to do one of them alone. The thing is, there are almost 40 students in the class, and that makes me even more scared. I'm just afraid of messing up or being judged in some way. My social anxiety isn't making it any better, and I always panic quickly.

Does anyone have any tips because I rack my brains over this every night and it's really driving me crazy :/

Write the text on the computer, read it loudly, and change it to two things:

1. He must be able to speak liquid everywhere. Where one is beaten when talking, one does not notice when reading it, one has to try it practically.

2.) The lecture must have the predetermined duration. If no one has set up, take 20 minutes, that is standard in the academic field.

Only then do he dig out, syllable for syllable, word for word. You can disassemble it into parts that you learn individually so that not only the beginning is perfect and the end becomes disaster.

If you need to combine this with PowerPoint pages, make them simple. Do not pack the complete text in to read it. People shouldn’t read what it says, but listen to you. Train the change of pages as well.

As soon as the general sample works several times, you are prepared and you no longer have to be afraid.

So I went to my Rigorosum (doctoral examination) after my predecessor had blew because of an alcohol problem, and I had sworn: that didn’t happen to me.

introduce the whole presentation at home, several times

if you notice any bottlenecks, then you can correct them at home early, instead of being stupid in the actual presentation

invite your parents or friends so they can watch you and give you feedback

So you can prepare for all possible scenarios and will not be afraid of uncertainty in the lecture!

1. Good practice: sound before friends or alone with notes.

Two. Breathe: Slow and deep before the start.

3. Step by step: Only before friends, then bigger.

4. Bug okay: No one expects perfection.

Five. Focus: Most pupils only listen, not critical.

You can do this!
