TikTok video stolen?
Hello dear community,
It's about me being at a concert last year and posting a video that looks really great—quality, camera work, etc. Everything about the video is really perfect…
But now I saw that someone saved my video and posted it themselves. My name was mentioned but not directly with an '@' and I asked the person to delete the video but both my comment and my friends' comments were deleted.
I would like to do something about it. Do you have any tips?
I’d escalate and turn on a specialized lawyer. Or Tiktok would like to point to copyright infringement and ask for deletion.
However, copyright law must also be proven. Smart photographers or video filmers usually publish their works with a lower resolution or with digital watermarks. If you can demonstrate the higher resolution, the race will definitely take place. However, digital recordings also transport metadata (e.g. data via the recording device, recording time and more). Although these can be changed, they offer interesting points of reference.
You can’t take concerts at all. Was that really allowed in the case? If I didn’t, I’d rather be very quiet.
Photos/videos that are recorded with the mobile phone are allowed
Yes, but only if you look at it in the quiet little chamber.
You can’t do anything. You have already committed a copyright infringement by posting the video.
Now try to explain to someone: “Here someone has the video that I illegally uploaded again without permission, please delete it!”…
Records with the phone were allowed
was explicitly stated there “filming and photographing with the mobile phone and the spreading of the recordings is allowed?
