Animals based on element?

Good day,

I'm currently in a very creative writing phase, but this isn't helping me with my problem. For a story, I want to use animals to represent the elements (fire, water, air, earth, and ice). It's a fantasy story, so anything is possible. However, the animals should radiate a lot of power, so the seahorse is out of the question for water. I might have something for fire (dragon, phoenix) and ice (wolf), but I'm at a loss for the rest.

That's why I'm looking forward to your creative answers! 😀

I would do it that I either take for all creatures, or for all real animals. So not with one dragon and the other wolf.
I’ll leave ice because I don’t have any ideas and don’t make any sense for me to handle it right away. Then your elements would be practically fire, air, earth, water and cold water.

In the case of mythical creatures, I would have proposed:
Fire: Phönix
Water: Basilisk
Air: Grip
Earth: “classical” dragon

If you’re looking for human creatures:
Fire: Demons
Water: Seamen
Air: Fairies
Earth: Dwarfs

In real beings:
Fire: Salamander or snakes
Water: Otopus, sharks
Air: Find a bird species. Or maybe fields
Earth: moles? Ants? Or something that lives in the forest, zb Rehe.

Nice answer, but would a Basilisk, the circumstances that are supposed to lead to his birth, not fit to earth? (No criticism, I’m just wondering why you chose water.)

Because I was thinking of a nautical snake first, but it was stupid to have a water word in the animal – for that reason I decided against “fire bird” for the fire animal. And Harry Potter is also guilty.

I understand, I thought it might be because many fountains have basil motifs.

It’s fantasy, isn’t it? Just think of the right animals…

I also wanted to write a story with trees to reflect the four elements. I just took udderle, frosty, black thorn and white thorn. Ready.

So could take something like Polarwolf, Brandwüstedler, Seetieger, Cave Bear etc

Hello,

I would take an eagle for air, as this is also a very powerful animal. I’d take moles for Earth. They’re not quite so imposing, but I think they’re pretty cool. And in the water I find the shark fits well. I hope I could somehow help.

Earth: Perhaps so ne Art Basilisk

Water:Ne Krake or so ne Art giant octopus that can customize its color like normal octopuse and so tarnish
