Tierärzte schuld am tot meines Kanninchen?
Hallo und tut mir leid wegen dem Fragen über mein totes Kanninchen. Gestern ist mein damaligen Kanninchen verstorben. Ich mache mir sehr viele Gedanken über mein süßen Baby. Er hatte gestern einen Kastrstions-OP gehabt. Jetzt mach ich mich verrückt und frage ob die Ärzte schuld waren, ob sie zu viel von den Narkose gegeben haben oder zu viel von den Aufwachspritze. Unsere Familien gehen da seit 30 Jahren zum Tierarzt (spezialisiert auf Nagertiere/Kleintiere) und da ist nie was negatives aufgefallen. Jetzt habe ich da gemischte Gefühle und überlebe den Tierarzt zu wechseln. Viele behaupten, dass er Herzprobleme hatte aber das weiß ich nicht. Jetzt haben wir uns einen süßen Männchen für unseren Häsin geholt. Aber ich muss ständig an mein totes Kaninchen erinnern.

And don’t you think the “replacement doctor” didn’t study veterinary medicine? If you’re a veterinarian, it’s like a doctor in human medicine.
So it’s just a guess or a hope?
Rabbits are not as robust as many always think. A castration (I have looked into your previous questions) is an immense intervention for such a small animal.
And if he had heart problems (you had left open, who said he had heart problems), then again this is a great risk in an anesthesia…as in humans too.
It is a pity that the guilt is immediately sought by someone instead of letting the whole thing lick and consider whether the rabbit was not really weakened or sick before.
My wife (other veterinarian) says that most rabbits already bring something, often problems with heart, joints, tendons and stomach.
Everyone understands your grief, an animal is like a family member. We also see this in our animals here (all Rescues).
But it’s kind of sad that if you don’t run an surgery or something like you think you’re looking for a guilty person right away… and that’s 99% of the cases of the doctor or the veterinarian.
And just because she’s a replacement doctor, she’s not less good or bad than the doctor you’ve had so far. That would be quite limited to thinking. Then your doctor should never have free, go on holiday or even retire, because at any time something can be with your rabbit…and only she “would” what your animals need/contract.
